The Miretti UK workshop, north of Birmingham, has enabled the holding of significant spares stock, meeting and training facilities, and a workshop area to carry out parts conversions, where possible. Global demand has grown significantly, and the UK Branch is playing its part, with customers spreading the word regarding the reliability and strong design principles that Miretti employs. Miretti’s products and systems are designed, manufactured and fully certified in compliance with worldwide standards and regulations: ATEX, IECEx, NEC.

The UK Branch premises have enabled us to hold a larger parts stock, with more room to develop the in-person/on-line training that has proved popular worldwide. Expanding our use of modern technology, and the broadcast of live demonstrations from the workshop, has made it possible to create the nearest thing to in-person training, from the UK to many regions worldwide, augmenting the training carried out at Head Office. Taking on extra engineers in the UK, experienced in all aspects of our after-sales work, has strengthened our ability to offer prompt parts supply, parts conversions, training, technical support, and the important Audits of the conversions post-delivery.

The United Kingdom has been a historically significant collaboration area for Miretti. As early as the mid 1980s, the company entered the British market as a representative and became involved in explosion protection conversion projects for the British Royal Navy. This role continued over the following decades, increasing over time. Once again, Miretti’s presence in the UK market proved itself to be strategic, it introduced the Miretti brand and opened the doors of the company to major American and Japanese forklift manufacturers, that have historically had bases and commercial and production locations in England as well.
