All Miretti Ex Diesel Engine Solutions for explosive environments are certified, with some having tri-certification to ATEX 2014/34/EU, IECEx and NEC 500 (USA market).

Miretti Diesel Engine Explosion Protection Systems are designed, tested and certified to support the equipment of clients, thanks to high quality know-how of our specialist engineers and of our Research & Development Dept. The explosion proof conversions of area classified provide the electrical and mechanical protection of the diesel engine, removing the risk of explosive ignition.

Miretti Ex Engine Conversions are available for many of the leading brands as Atlas Copco | MTU | Cummins | Caterpillar | Volvo | Perkins | JCB | FPT | Deutz | Man | John Deere | Doosan | Detroit | Kaeser | Airman | Clarke etc…
Other options for other brands are available on request.

Zone 2 ATEX Ex compliant Kits, reliable and safe, optimized for installation and ‘uptime’, maintenance friendly for marine and industrial engines. Available for all leading brands and models. Also, fully Ex Powerpacks for engines certified for use in hazardous locations are available. EX Conversion by Miretti Americas to Class I Div. 2 Explosion Proof Standards includes: Meeca System, Caps, Electric Starter, Junction Box , Control Panel Display, Cutoff Switch Box, Alternator, Battery Box.

    Miretti started its first projects for applications in the Gulf of Mexico and the North Sea, as well as on American offshore tank barges. In addition to its production and commercial facilities, Miretti established offices in Houston (Texas) and Aberdeen (UK) as touchpoints for USA and European clients. Expansion into the Asian market followed with locations in Singapore and China. 

    Over its 50 years of experience, Miretti has gathered the technical background and specialized knowledge 

    to convert both industrial and marine engines into explosion proof versions in partnership with major OEMs.

    Continuous and consistent contact with major engine manufacturers is maintained at all times, but in these relationships, though supporting the client closely, Miretti remains independent as this is one of the company’s key principles.
