With Miretti Gas Detector Systems (DetEx)
Active Conversion with Gas Detector Technology for vehicles operating in areas where it is considered strictly necessary or is preferred by the end user.
In Atex Zone 2 is also possible fitting an Active Conversion with using the Miretti Gas Detector System (DetEx).
The kit structure of the DetEx is made of: Interface Touchscreen Display; Control Unit; Battery Cut-Off Enclosure; Gas Sensors (two sensors – optional the third one in a separate box); sensors according Atex cat. 3GD. The Gas Detector Systems are available as
- kit with two sensors
- kit with one sensor
Having two types of kits (with two sensors and with one sensor) has the advantage of allowing the Gas Detector to be adapted to any type of trucks respecting the ergonomics and spaces (often limited) of the mobile vehicles.
Multiple kits can be used (kit with two sensors + kit with single sensor) on large earthmoving machines – heavy duty vehicles that may need to monitor a larger area around them than a forklift.
The truck operator receives Gas/Vapour audible and visual warnings at 10% LEL Propane in Air. Then the truck automatically shuts down to safety prevent an explosion at 25% LEL.
