Certification and testing are very important elements in Explosion Proof Protection Field. Within Europe the introduction of the ATEX directives significantly increased demand for explosion protection for applications where material handling equipment was required to handle potentially flammable and combustible materials in process buildings, warehouses and storage areas.

Where applicable Explosion proof trucks operated within the EU need to comply with the ATEX 2014/34/EU* directive. To ensure compliance Miretti engineers focus their explosion proof conversion process on the supporting European standard EN 1755:2015*. Outside of Europe Miretti, through its factory in New Jersey, USA provides truck explosion proof conversions on most makes and models of trucks working to NFPA 505 standard including supporting FM certification.

Additionally o meet the requirements for international standards many Miretti systems and components are also certified to IECEx for multi-national operations and compliance.
